The Frasassi Caves

The Frasassi Caves, located in the town of Genga in the province of Ancona, are Europe's largest underground complex, with 30 kilometers of cave systems found in 1971. The Caves, which can be viewed with a 1.5-kilometer guided tour that lasts slightly over an hour, contain spectacular natural sculptures of incredible scale and strange designs made by millions of years of water droplets.
The Holy House from Nazareth

The Holy House is placed within the Basilica, which was constructed between 1469 and 1587 and serves as the Sanctuary's heart. It is made up of three walls that, according to ancient and authoritative tradition, are the area in front of the cave of Nazareth where the Blessed Virgin Mary was born, lived, and awaited the Annunciation. According to religious tradition, the angels were entrusted with the relocation of the Holy House from Nazareth to Loreto.
Pontifical Museum Santa Casa (Holy House)

The Museum, placed in 28 rooms on the upper floors of the Apostolic Palace, houses the Holy House Treasure, paintings, sculptures, tapestries and majolica, goldsmith's art, and furniture from the sanctuary that have been donated to the Holy House over the centuries.
Conero Riviera

The Conero Riviera is made up of dozens of beaches surrounded by rock formations and lush vegetation that can be reached by sea or by trails, as well as numerous towns rich in history and traditions. The Riviera is defined by a surprising, colored, and occasionally wild nature, a crystal clear, unforgettable sea, and numerous beaches, some easily accessible, others more solitary and hidden.
Leopardi House

Recanati's historic center, located on the rolling hills of Le Marche, preserves the house where the famous nineteenth-century poet Giacomo Leopardi lived. The family palace is located in Via Leopardi and overlooks Piazza Sabato del Villaggio, which also faces Teresa Fattorini's house, known as "Silvia" in the famous poem.
Birthplace of Santa Maria Goretti

In Contrada "Pregiagna," the two-story building rises in the countryside not far from Corinaldo's historic center. There are two ways to visit this house-museum: faith leads most visitors to this place intended as a sort of relic; a demo-anthropological interest encourages the visitor to get in touch with a historical reality that is relatively close but clearly different from our everyday life.
The Diocesan Sanctuary of Santa Maria Goretti

The bell tower of the church of Sant'Agostino above the rooftops of Corinaldo distinguishes the Diocesan Sanctuary of Santa Maria Goretti, which is located at the top of the historical center. The mortal remains of Mamma Assunta, who died in Corinaldo in 1954, are on the left side of the entrance, and those of Alessandro Serenelli are on the right. A silver urn contains the bone of the Martyr's arm, with which the Martyr attempted to defend herself from her aggressor, Alessandro Serenelli, in the central altar of white Carrara marble, near a wooden sculpture of Santa Maria Goretti.
Claudio Ridolfi Civic Art Collection

The municipal art collection was largely constituted following the suppression of religious orders and the subsequent confiscation of their assets. The collection of Corinaldo, precisely because of its origin, assumes the connotation of a museum of Sacred Art and includes not only numerous paintings of exclusive religious subjects, but also precious religious furnishings pertaining to the so-called "minor arts".
La spiaggia di Marotta

La spiaggia di Marotta, una delle più belle delle Marche, è una località balneare situata fra Fano e Senigallia. La spiaggia è lunga circa dieci chilometri e composta da sabbia chiara, mentre in alcuni tratti è rocciosa e mista a ghiaia. Il mare è cristallino e di un caratteristico colore che va dal turchese al blu cobalto man mano che ci si allontana dalla riva. I fondali sono digradanti e pertanto adatti ai bambini e ai nuotatori poco esperti, e anche per questo motivo Marotta è stata più volte premiata sia con la Bandiera Blu dalla FEE Italia (Fondazione per l’educazione ambientale), sia con la Bandiera Verde per le spiagge adatte alle famiglie con bambini.
The Walls of Corinaldo

The city walls and towers are the pinnacles of Corinaldo's historic center, where the fusion and architectural harmony between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance are evident and flawless. They are divided into two categories: Western and Eastern City Walls. Porta Nova is the final access to the Castle of Corinaldo, built during the Renaissance (1484-1490). Eastern Walls: Porta di Santa Maria del Mercato is a true defense complex composed of two parts constructed in two successive eras while the Northern Walls are an imposing complex comprised of an arc of access to the center and buildings dedicated to housing the residence of the Bargello (people's captain) and the guardhouse.
